اگر سفر میں ہمارا بھی ہم سفر ہوتا
بڑی خوشی سے انہی پتھروں پہ سو لیتے
تمہاری راہ میں شاخوں پہ پھول سوکھ گئے
کبھی ہوا کی طرح اس طرف بھی ہو لیتے
یہ کیا کہ روز وہی چاندنی کا بستر ہو
کبھی تو دھوپ کی چادر بچھا کے سو لیتے
